Resources

The CNDS group maintains a lab consisting of several routers and switches plus a collection of Linux based servers. The lab hosts two PlanetLab and two EmanicsLab nodes and provides a number of general services to other research groups or the whole university:

  • Xen virtual machines for several research groups
  • Apache and NGINX web service for hosting some web sites
  • Subversion repositories for several projects
  • Domain Name Service for several zones (e.g., eecs.jacobs-university.de)

The core network consists of the following devices:

  • 1 Riverstone RS 3000 / RS 9.1 (dead)
